Private archival production
Rebbe Text Privacy Policy

Rebbe Text is a private workflow application for authorized users who transcribe, OCR, review, correct, and export archival text. The app is not a public social network, advertising platform, or consumer data product.
Information We Process
- Account and access information: email address, role, access tokens, login/session status, device token labels, and audit records needed to authenticate users and enforce permissions.
- User-provided archival content: uploaded audio files, PDFs, images, metadata, draft transcripts, reviewed text, comments, correction suggestions, glossary terms, gold references, and exports.
- Processing information: recognition runs, OCR/ASR artifacts, quality metrics, processing status, error logs, and provider/model metadata needed to make transcription and review traceable.
- Optional integrations: if an administrator or user configures AI correction providers, GPU ASR, or Google Drive backup, the app sends the minimum needed document text or backup files to that configured provider to perform the requested task.
- Technical data: basic request, security, and operational logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
Device Permissions
The Android app currently requests internet access so it can communicate with the protected Rebbe Text API. It does not request device location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, calendar, or phone-call permissions.
How Information Is Used
- To authenticate users and enforce private team roles.
- To upload, process, OCR, transcribe, review, approve, export, and back up archival material.
- To show processing status, quality warnings, audit history, and correction suggestions.
- To diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and maintain the reliability and security of the service.
Sharing And Service Providers
We do not sell personal information and we do not use the app for advertising. Information may be processed by infrastructure and workflow providers that are necessary to run the app, such as Cloudflare for hosting, authentication, storage, queues, and Workers AI; Google Drive if a user connects Drive backup; and configured AI/OCR/ASR providers when an authorized user starts those processing actions.
Security And Retention
The production app is protected by Cloudflare Access and role-based authorization. Source files are treated as private archival materials. Records are retained for workflow traceability, audit history, version history, and recovery unless an administrator removes them according to the team’s archival policy.
Children
The app is intended for authorized archival-production users and is not directed to children.
Your Choices
Authorized users can request access, correction, export, or deletion of account-related information by contacting the administrator. Mobile access tokens can be revoked from the Admin page.
